SYNOPSIS OF
A LITTLE LOWER THAN THE ANGELS
Suzanne Rosewell is the youngest female partner in the history of her
prestigious Wall Street law firm. She’s a strong, driven woman
with the will to succeed and a quick start that has placed her ahead
of the curve. Then she meets Elias Garner, an enigmatic black Jazz musician
who carries an ancient golden trumpet and represents the even more furtive “Chairman” (whom
we learn heads the most powerful corporation on earth).
Elias explains that God has always placed among us thirty-six righteous
people – each of whom “knows the divine will” and all
of whom must be accounted for if humanity is to redeem itself. Five are
missing from the Chairman’s list and Suzanne is asked to set aside
her career to search for them. If she is unsuccessful, it appears that
the world cannot exist beyond the sunrise.
